The East Africa cup 2016 edition will be held on 21st to 26 the last week of June in Moshi, Tanzania and is anticipated to bring young people from different organizations from across east Africa. The impact of using young people as the vehicle for change with youth at the forefront of this event, play an active role in the community inside and outside the field of play. As CHRISC Kenya we use major sports activities football and volleyball at the local level to reach and to engage community in society development As leaders we hold activities which bring young people together,” explains George Okumu, Eldoret district coordinator. Young people from CHRISC Kenya will be going to participate in these 2016 edition in Moshi and exchange ideas, it will give them an opportunity platform to showcase their potential talents both in sports, media and culture in which it will build their self – esteem. Getting knowledge and sensitization from organized seminars will bring impact to our youths and help them deal with challenges they face and these are tools we can take back to our community and talk to parents and mobilize other young people to show them who “CHRISC Kenya are” and make other realize their potential dreams.”
